（2）对于工件材料的探测灵敏度很高，且在一定范围内具有良好的现行指示，可对材料异常（碳含量、硬度、材质、钢号等）进行精确控制筛选，所以可以用作质量管理与控制。

（3）影响涡流的因素很多，如裂纹、材质、尺寸、形状及电导率和磁导率等。采用特定的电路进行处理，可筛选某一因素而抑制其他因素，由此有可能对上述某一单独影响因素进行有效的检测。

（4）由于检查时不需接触工件又不用耦合介质，所以可在高温下检测。由于探头可抻入到远处作业，所以可对工件的狭窄区域及深孔壁（包括管壁）等进行检测。

（5）由于是采用电信号显示，所以可存储、再现及进行数据比较和处理。

广泛应用于各类异性结构紧固件混料分选，如淬火不合格、碳含量异常、钢种混料和硬度异常等均具有较高的检测灵敏度。

涡流探伤仪具有1KHZ——100KHZ测试频率范围，能够在仪器内建立标准检测数据库，方便用户在更换不同规格的材料时调用。

可配接笔式探头、穿过式探头和内穿外穿等探头（根据用户的检测要求而定），仪器可选配在线测速系统、磁饱和器以及喷墨装置、探头架等。
